The symposium is free to attend and everyone is welcome. In order to keep the event inclusive, there will be no registration fee.
We are planning to keep the number of delegates low to encourage an intimate exchange of views and knowledge that will hopefully result in future collaborations. Whether you are planning to come for both or one of the days, we would ask you to register so that we can keep track of the numbers. Please select from the options in the link below.

Alas, our modest budget doesn’t allow us to pay for the symposium dinner for everyone attending. The University of Sussex campus in located in Falmer – about 10 minutes on the train from Brighton. Brighton is very well connected with direct trains from London and Gatwick. If you are flying to Heathrow, they journey is also relatively straightforward: Heathrow Express to Victoria and then a direct train to Brighton.

Accommodation on campus is limited at this time of year. You could try the Institute of Development Studies which has a small number of rooms:
Brighton itself has a very rich offer of accommodation at various price points. Please keep in mind that some youth hostels offer single occupancy rooms with en–suite bathrooms at competitive prices.
