War is embodied in art through the lived experience of the artist who mediates and bears witness to war's transformative power.

The War and the Body Exhibition explored the intertwining of war and body in the sculpture, drawing, painting, photography and installation art work of 11 contemporary artists. Artists were resident throughout the exhibition and discussed their work at the private view evening on the 10th June.
